Returns Policy

RETURNING OR EXCHANGING PRODUCTS

We hope you will be satisfied with any product purchased on our website, but if you wish to return a product to us for any reason you may do so within 28 days of the despatch date. It must be in a saleable condition and in its original, undamaged packaging. We will refund the price of the product to the purchaser, but we will consider the overall condition of the product being returned when making a refund. Delivery and collection charges will be refunded in the event of faulty or incorrect items.

Goods returned which have been correctly supplied will be subject to a 15% handling charge.

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE PRODUCTS

Under no circumstances may any items be returned to the Company without prior authorisation from the Company.
All goods will be collected by the Company’s own courier at a charge of £25.00 plus VAT.

Please note that we cannot exchange or accept the return of certain products. All non-stock items which are special orders cannot be accepted for refund. Once the packaging has been opened on the following products, for reasons of safety or security, we are unable to refund or exchange them unless they are faulty: -

Engine management items, electrical products, tools.

To obtain authorisation to return an item please use one of the following options: -

* Telephone our mail order division on 0115 983 5280 between 9 am and 5 pm.
* Contact us by email on sales@buypartsby.com

Please have a copy of your sales invoice to hand or if contacting us by email please quote the invoice reference. This will enable us to quickly track your details.
We will issue a Goods Return Number (GRN) and arrange a suitable collection date and time. Please mark the parcel with our GRN number and ensure you are at home at the time the collection has been arranged.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

What is your privacy policy?

No personal information is kept on this site or its server & you will not be asked for personal information which is not needed for the transaction. All we require is name,address,contact & credit/debit card details.

The information on the form you submit will be held & used by Autospares (Sutton) Ltd in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for the purpose of order processing & account administration only. No information is passed to third parties. It is our company policy not to send unsolicited e-mail. Cookies are used on this shopping site only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

All your information is protected by the Data Protection Act and is entrusted solely to Autospares (Sutton) Ltd

Tell me about your levels of Security?

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer & are not held in clear text on any website

If you do not feel happy sending your credit card details out over the Internet, we can process your order by phone. Please call us on Nottingham : 0115-983-5280 Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Faulty Goods

What do I do if I suspect I have a faulty part?

Without exception all catalytic converters must be returned back to us for a detailed test and report.
